Step 1 -- Is the journal I want online? Print Page

Look for the journal

 Suppose you want this article:

Esp, Jacqueline. (2001).  "National survey of social work services in schools for the deaf," American Annals of the Deaf, vol. 146, no. 4, p. 320

1.  Go to the Library's web site and click “Find specific e journals.”

2.  Type the JOURNAL title (not the article title) into search box.  Click “Search.”

3.  You will see a list of all the databases that include American Annals of the Deaf.  Note the dates of coverage on the left.  (“Present” means “now.”) Click a database that includes the year you need – 2001.   In this example, we will use the database Communication and mass media.  Click the database title.

Now you are ready to find an article by author; title; or by year, volume, and issue, or by subject.  Click the appropriate yellow tab at the top of the screen.
