How to access an e-book from EBL
Start in the Library's catalog. Locate the title you are interested in, and click "Click here to view the book".
You will be taken directly to the EBL page, bypassing the ALADIN log-in screen. You will notice that the orange "download" button is missing. Click "Read Online (Available)"
The ALADIN log-in screen should appear. Log in using your Gallaudet credentials. Click "Go."
A "Security Warning" window will appear several times. Click "Continue" as many times as needed.
Here, you will be informed that the book is not available, which is not always the case. "Click "Bookshelf" and you'll be taken to...
...the bookshelf page. Type in the title of the book you are looking for in the search box. Click "Search."
The book you are looking for should appear in the search results. Click the title you want.
You will be taken to the book's information page. Now you can either read online or download the e-book with no problems.
If you continue to have problems accessing the e-book, please contact the Library by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) or chat.
