Books

Deaf film is a new area of scholarship and few books have been written. Using the suggested search strategies below will help the researcher cast the widest net possible. The Deaf Stacks are located on the first or main level of the building. If you don't find the book you want in the Deaf Stacks, be sure to ask at the Library Service Desk about the copy in the Deaf Copy One room

To find books about Deaf film, click on the search box and type in:

"deaf film" not video?

  • select keyword (AND, OR, NOT)
  • click the search button
  • select "Gallaudet" from the drop-down menu in the location box (if you want to limit your search to the Gallaudet University Library)
